A chance to unearth Skipton’s hidden WW1 past with a behind the scenes look at the latest archaeological dig taking place on the site of the town’s First World War training and POW camp.

•              Guided tours on the hour

•              Pick up a trowel and get involved in the dig

•              WW1 re-enactor

•              Bring your own finds for ID by professional archaeologists.

Location of the dig site is next to The Coach House at top of Raikeswood drive (BD23 1NA).
